“Growing up, everyone predicted I would be a secretary (it must have been all those term papers I typed for everyone). From my first position at Bond, Schoeneck & King as a legal secretary, I always wanted to learn as many new computer software programs as I could. The legal field didn’t have enough upward mobility, so I became an executive secretary to the Vice President of Finance at Dairylea, and then eventually was promoted to administrative assistant to Craig Buckhout. He offered me the opportunity to become an employee of Rockbridge 13 years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made.”
“Believe it or not, I enjoy the day-to-day processes and streamlining them for more efficiency, leaving me time to be more creative with presentations and quarterly newsletters and helping to improve communications with clients. I love lists and being able to check things off of them! I also strive to give clients (and my co-workers) a high level of service that I, myself, expect in life. We are a close-knit group at Rockbridge and coming to work every day is more of a pleasure than a job.”
