My 25 years in Human Resources and benefits administration made me very sensitive to issues related to retirement planning. My passion was in benefits administration in health and retirement plans. I developed and presented many in-house employee retirement counseling sessions, helping employees to make the right choices leading to retirement. It was quite natural for me to transition to an investment advisor environment where I could help those people carry out their plans, especially with a company whose emphasis is on doing what is best for the client.
My favorite part of the job is the constant contact with clients, dealing with their individual issues related to investments, income taxes, personal financial items, or family questions. I find that I and my Rockbridge associates can provide a great resource to clients and others.
I spent 25 years in Human Resources and benefits administration with a Fortune 100 company, then 18 years as an investment advisor, with over 250 personal clients.
I am a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill with an AAS in Accounting, and a graduate of SUNY Albany (Albany University) with a degree in Business Administration.
I volunteer as a Tax Aide for AARP, preparing income taxes, keeping me up to date on personal income tax matters that may affect our clients. I volunteer at Meals on Wheels. I serve on the Investment Committee and Finance Committee for my Church, St. Ann’s in Manlius, where I also am a member of the choir. I enjoy golfing, and we have a small lake-front camp on a local reservoir.
